Since Nov 2007, I havent blogged here till today.  APologies - even though no ones reads this blog, I apologise for my lack of presence nevertheless.  

It has been a rather eventful long weekend thanks to Good Friday.  

Thursday night 
- Met up with the gals for a much needed yakking session to catch up with one another.  Ruhui did crowning and ZW and myself were eager to see the results.  Then there's renovation updates for her new home, her photo shoot in May... We hang out at MOS burger till late.  Well, not TOO late.  Late enough for the MOS burger people to tell me that they are "closed" when I tried to buy drinks over the counter.  

So we adjourn to the 7/11 to get drinks for the super thirsty moi, and headed back to the north. 


Friday 
- Ran some errands with mom and then went to TPY to meet Jer, Paolo, Brenda and Royston who were still at NTUC FairPrice buying stuff for our BBQ at Sembawang Park.  By the time I reached, it's around 4pm.  We got the stuff and headed to Roy's place to prepare the food, sliced them up etc.  By 7pm, we were at the pit, or rather, the ground.  All the pits were taken up so we had a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pit) thingie where there is a yellow box marked out on the floor for "your own pit".  Keke. 

It was fun.  And sitting beside your pit bbq-ing aint too bad too.  And I have to say Paolo is a very good 'fire starter'.  *two thumbs up*   

We bbq and ate, and played card games - Dai Dee and "Abuse Ah Leong Game", which is actually Heart Attack la - blame it on his slow reflexes), and talked of course. 

By the wee hours, we were pretty tired.  Well, to be accurate, I was still quite awake. Keke.  

We tried sleeping by the roadside but the street lamps were just too bright for us to drift off to dreamland.  Tried looking for alternative spots but nay... none suitable.  In the end, we headed back to our leong's place for dvd (for those who can) and sleep (for those who needed a comfy spot). 

Brenda and Paolo slept while myself, Jer and Roy watched Umizu or sth - "sea monkeys". Roy watched the movie before, so he drifted off to sleep once in a while. 

After the movie, we went for Mac breakfast at around... 7am?  Brenda went home direct though.   

Had wanted to go to the VideoEz sale at TPY Safra but it was too early and I didnt know what to do till the sale start.  Went home direct instead. 

When I reached home, I entertained my family for a while, showered, then waited or my hair to dry slightly before sleeping at 10am. 

And sleep I did allll the way til 7pm-ish.  hahaha.  Shiok!  I didnt even feel hungry! 


I woke up, watched telly, ate my dinner, and slept only close to 1am coz I was watching a movie on the free to air. 

And slept all the way till 11.30am today.  Happy! 

Sis was asking me she wondered how I am going to sleep last night coz I slept so much in the day.  haha.  I replied her - just sleep lo. 

Coz seriously, my eyes were very exhausted even after sleeping from 10am to 7pm (9 hours).  So I sorta knew I would be able to sleep during the night anyway.

And today, I woke at.... 11am.  *yay*  My alarm was set for 10.30am.  I woke, snooze my alarm, and headed back to sleep. Hee.. 

I got a lot of work to do!  But I think I probably will end up doing just a bit.  Keke. 

Delphi notes, my expenses.. and one more thing I can't remember wat it is!

Ho ho.  It's been a long time since Iast blogged here. 
Hmm.

Goodness.  I wonder what kids do nowadays. 
They can play and shout and yell at the playground from evening time all the way till now.  Yes.  Till now.  It's past 10pm, and they are still at it. 

In the evening, it's the younger kids.. toddlers of sort.  The older imps are there too of course. 
As time passes... the toddlers went home with their parents.  The older imps remained.   *rolls eyes*

Of course they 'remain'.  Now they have the entire playground to themselves.  That's what they are waiting for ah.  

And they stayed, and stayed, and stayed, till now. 

*grrrrs* 


So noisy!!! 

Can someone grab them by the collar and throw them in the direction of home? 



Woah... I seemed so unforgiving don't I? 
I did wonder if I did what they are doing now when I was their age. 
My conclusion, NO.

I admit, my parents are stricter and don't really allow me to 'hang' out that much. 
So naturally, I never got to be at the playground at this late hour. 

Still, even if I could, I don't think I would be yelling and shouting and playing at this late hour, fully aware that I am a disturbance to my neighbours. 

Silently chat if you want. 

But don't play and talk loudly as though it is day.  It's not.  It's night time.  And noise amplify.

*shakes head* 



It's quieter now.  But as I typed the word "quieter", their volume increased. 
Talk about chemisty! 

Go home kids!

I could still remember we taking photos together during convocation.  We were all so happy then. 
Bittersweet it was, coz our uni days came to an end, and yet we were overjoyed that we have all come so far.

Remember the time you me weimin and ashley ran off to sing ktv on the eve of our exams to destress?  :)

Tis been about a month since I blogged here.

I found one more lovely site that I like, among many others..  little red heels

Think I am getting addicted to online shopping sia. Tsk.. Not too good. Especially since I am *ahem* not earning at the moment.  But seriously, there are so many things available online!  *rolls eyes*  Yes.. seems like I am kinda slow in hopping on the band wagon, but hey!  Better late than never! 

HOWEVER, I will curb myself!!  Coz Ive got to be selective!  

Afterall, as a newbie to the world of online shopping, I feel that I ought to stick with my favourite sellers while exploring new ones.  Online shopping for clothings especially, is still a huge deterent for me.  Simply coz I quite a bobo when it comes to sizes and cuts and all.  I really need to put the outfit and see if I like it.  Cant tell just by viewing sia.  But that hasnt stopped me from making my first clothing buys with my gal friends from CCT Fashion.  Hope this batch comes in fine.  Otherwise, I will swear off buying clothes online!! 

Back to accessories, my favourite online purchases of all. 

Thus far, Ive bought from:
SweetLiquid  - This is what got me into online shopping!  One-of-a-kind wire craft.  *two thumbs uP!*
whimsicalfixations - DIY fm Shanghai.  Pretty and reasonably priced too.
Pretty Lil Things - Quaint items completed with loving packaging.
miss-dejavu - Variety of items to be purchased from accessories to charms to the lovely carebear tins I bought.
quixotic-inc - Assortment of charms to be purchased.


There are so many other sites waiting to be discovered.  I realised that what attracts me (other than the creations of course) is the customer service and the delivery.    All the sites listed above are more 'personal' in a sense.  Ive had sites where the site up is more professional, complete with "shopping cart" and "check out" functions.  But somehow, I still prefer to browse and buy from the more home-run blogs and sites.  Keke.

Last night while I was surfing the web, I was lucky enough to see that Batte is available for sale! I joined the balloting, but didnt win it. Here's my chance!

And now, I got it! Am just short of transfering the money over. Hee..

I like Cherryade, and on impulse, I emailed Suzanne to ask her about it.

Now I am wondering if I should get both. Hmm. The Cherryade is pretty nice. Not exactly my style, but I was thinking I can wear it to brighten up my attire. Hmmm.

Come to think of it, Batte aint exactly me too. But it's always good to have accessories of different styles? *rolls eyes*

Lame. Im just making excuses for myself arent I?

It seems that I am getting increasingly drawn to accessories - belts, necklaces, earrings etc. Hmmm. Not good!

Anyhow. Should I get Cherryade?

Hmmm. Just missed some items by SweetLiquid - as usual, all her stuff are pretty much snapped up real fast. Ordered something from MySpringFling, but turned out it's sold out, and I prefer my original selection. So in the end, I opted out.

But it's ok! Coz I bought a Cat earrings the other day from a booth at Nrthpt. Keke. I like the cat, and it's kinda.. attitude. Ha. No lah. It's just that the lady has several cats stuff on sale. A cute-ish one and a more bold one. I took the latter. =D The cute one is too kawaii for me. This cat one is inferior to the cat necklace I bought from Japan. I guess Japan really has quality stuff man (not to mention 'quality' price too).

Also bought a necklace for sis.... Nice! It's silver, with a circular thingie and has tussels dangling from it. I like tussels. This one is... $28.90. My earrings was $10. Buy 2 have discount. So the prices I quoted are after discount le.


Was surfing ard jus now, and saw this top which I would like to own.  Haha.

I figured the lines wont really make me look fat, plus I like such loose fitting tops coz I have big tummy.  Keke.  BUT - aint really comfortable buying tops online.  Coz I am unsure of my size.  So shall hv to stick to buying accessories bah! :P


PLUS, Ive also bought a top not long ago, within the week that passed. It's an OWL top! Coolness! *jumps in air happily* I like owls. So this top really grabbed me. It cost S$23.90. Ok la hor?

Damn. I seemed to be in a buying mood nowadays. Many a pretty things grab me. =( No good leh!

And I came to realise that quite a few freelance 'artists' like Cherlyn, use LJ as a platform to sell their creations. =) No disadvantages for me I guess. ;P
